Installing Matlab on Mac OS X systems
Matlab is available on the following Platforms.
All computers must be enrolled in the site license program before they may run Matlab.
The Mathworks Installation Guide for MAC OS X is available here. Please, also, read the following important notes from Mathworks which may apply to your OS version.
Create a temporary directory and download the installation file 2007bosx.tar available here:
Double-clicking on the downloaded file will start the installation process.
- A license file is needed to decrypt the installation files. If you have not been sent a copy of this file as part of the enroll/renew process, please send mail to: WSS .
Use cut and paste to grab the license information and put it in the spot requested during installation.
Answer the questions and choose the toolboxes you wish to install. After the installation is complete, you may delete the temporary install files.
If you have any trouble getting to the software, please send mail to: WSS . You can arrange to borrow a copy of the installation cds for a limited amount of time.
