XWin32 Campus License Yale has a university wide licensing arrangement with Starnet for XWin32 software for MS-Windows computers. XWin32 permits PC users to have graphical Unix/Linux applications on their desktop (see http://www.yale.edu/software/ ). The license was updated September 2006. If you are getting an error message "Your license has expired as of Aug-200x", then adjust your client as below: From your START MENU select: XWin32-60/X-Config Click on the license tab. Enter the license code that corresponds to your IP address from the chart below. InstallationPlease follow these directions.
Please securely tunnel your connections through SSH by following these simple steps. |

1) Obtain and install Xwin32 and SSH 2) Start XWin32
3) Make sure that SSH is set to tunnel X11 connections
4) Log into the Unix host 5) Issue the command for the application
